Meet our Advisory Board

The Aerospace Arizona Association advisory board serves as proactive advocate of the interests of the aerospace industry in order to accomplish the enactment of responsible legislation and public policy that promotes the economically viable, socially and environmentally responsible development of the aerospace industry in Arizona.

  1. Michael Patterson

    Advisory Board Member
    Michael Patterson is a Shareholder at Polsinelli, PC, a law firm of 850 lawyers in 23 cities. Mike has a long history of supporting aerospace initiatives in Arizona, from hosting and sponsoring UAS events, to helping multiple clients in the aerospace supply chain (with his broader team) with issues related to compliance, regulatory issues, ITAR, EAR, software, raising capital, contracts, cyber security and local and national public policy.
  2. R. Glenn Williamson

    Mr. Williamson has more than 30 years of entrepreneurial and executive level experience, primarily in the financial and operational aspects of companies. Mr. Williamson has a proven record of taking companies from concept to maturity by assembling and managing teams of highly qualified individuals who provide the innovation, experience and expertise to build successful companies. From 2000 to present, he has served as CEO to Nest Ventures LLC, a private equity firm with offices in Montreal, Canada and Phoenix, Arizona.

    George Scott is the Director of the Southeast Arizona Economic Development Group. Located in Benson, Arizona, this non-profit serves Cochise County and Southeast Arizona. He has extensive experience helping existing and new business solve problems with local, County and State Governments. From 2001 to 2007, George served the City of Benson as Mayor and Vice Mayor.

    With a background in agriculture, leadership, research and political involvement, Paul Brierley has found a great fit at the University of Arizona's new Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture. He is excited to once again be involved with a university research environment, and to contribute to the future of desert agriculture - where 40% of the world's food is produced.

  6. Ted Maxwell

    Ted Maxwell’s extensive leadership and command experience have served him well in his career. He has established himself as a leader capable of motivating and managing a large diverse workforce. Ted has extensive experience working with Congress, with government officials and with foreign dignitaries. Ted was a 1984 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy earning a Bachelor’s of Science. He received his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in 2014. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Town Hall and as the Board President for Tucson Values Teachers.

  9. Lorie Grabham

    20+ years IT leader with extensive experience and education in aviation. Considerable experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and successful delivery of business intelligence solutions and application development projects. Work experience includes IT facets of multiple corporate mergers; data migration strategy; technical problem analysis/impact/resolution; aviation safety; converting business requirements into working detailed designs; and driving UAS innovation for maintenance engineering in the aviation industry.
